Veterans
Track and Field
We run two teams in the Veterans league, the Lions, & the Saints, essentially an “A” team & a “B” team. Last year was another hugely successful season, the R&N Lions winning the Midlands League Cup Final at Alexander Stadium, in September, to win the 'Central TV Trophy for the third successive year. In addition the Saints women won the “B” Final.
These events are tremendous fun, and are always relaxed and friendly meets. There are always opportunities for athletes of a wide range of ability. It is also a great opportunity for those of us whose best years are behind us and usually support the club by officating in the younger age groups to compete against our old friends and rivals in our own age groups.
