Membership is available to any potential athlete/official/coach over the age of 8 years. The Club provides for both sexes in all age groups. The Membership fee to the Club is amazing value for money. The fee is structured to represent the ability to pay between younger and older members. It should be noted that annual subscriptions represent 90% of the Clubs’ annual income, which is used for the ‘day to day’ operation of the Club.

The subscriptions are required to cover the annual costs of: -

1. Annual Affiliation fees to UK Athletics, the AAA of England, the Midland Counties AA and the County affiliations to both Northamptonshire and Warwickshire.
2. Membership of ALL competing athletes to the Midland Counties Registration Scheme, which is mandatory.
3. Hire of the track facilities at Rugby and Northampton for Club training sessions 3 times per week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings.
4. Payment for floodlights for winter training at both centres.
5. Hire of both tracks for League competitions

   • National Junior League (Men & Women)
   • National Young Athletes League (Boys & Girls)

   • Birmingham Cross-Country League

    

7. Entry fees for Team Championships in Cross-Country and Road Relays
8. Payments for coaches/officials attending upgrading courses, to improve their ability to officiate/coach for the benefit of the Club and its athletes.
9. Payments to MACC coaches for winter workshops to coach in disciplines where the Club has deficiencies in coaching.

If you use the track facility as a Senior at a cost of £72 per annum, that equates to a cost of less than £1.40 per week. If you are a member of the public then the cost to use the Rugby track is £1.80 per session. The comparison is self-explanatory.

1. A passport size photograph is required for a track pass which is compulsory for all track training sessions and KMLC Sports hall sessions.

2. Family membership covers parents and children up to the age of 18, or in full time education. At least one applicant must be a parent.
