Leicestershire & Rutland and Warwickshire County Championships

Pingles Stadium, Nuneaton 14th/15th May

Although the XC season has not finished yet we have to turn our minds to the track season which starts very soon.

The Leicestershire & Rutland and Warwickshire County Championships will be combined once again this year. They will be hosted by Nuneaton Harriers at the Pingles Stadium, Nuneaton over the weekend of 14th/15th May.

To enter the Championships you should go to the Diary on the County web site www.WarwickshireCountyAA.co.uk

You can download a paper entry form but we prefer that you enter online because it saves us and you time and money. Online entries are £1 cheaper and the closing date is one week later.

The paper closing date is April 13th

The on line closing date is April 20th

You must read the event prospectus before entering because it is a condition of entry and there are some important changes this year.

Notably:-

(1) The U11s will compete in a QuadKids event.

(2) The male and female track events are not necessarily on the same day as has always been the case in the past. For example, the male 100m and 1500m are on Saturday but the females on Sunday.

(3) To help you plan your weekend we have published a DRAFT timetable. Note that it may change and you should carefully check the final detailed version in May

A couple of tips about the online entry system.

(1) If you are a Club official or coach who enters several athletes you can enter them and save them until your team is complete closer to the closing date and then pay for them all together. You do not have to pay as you go along.

(2) There is a "your complete entries" button at the top of the registration screen which shows which entries you have paid for (just in case you are not sure or have forgotten). Give the system a little while to update itself from unpaid to paid.
