Veteran Ladies finish 2nd
Angela Copson led home the Rugby & Northampton ladies in the Bedford 6 miles to finish in 6th place and win the F60 category for the third time when she recorded 39 mins 15 secs. The race was round 3 of the East Midlands Grand Prix Series and Copson helped the Veteran ladies to finish in second place on the night.
Supporting her in the team was Tricia Garner in 27th position (4th F50) in 45.50 and Jo Love in 29th spot on 46.16 (8th F35), which also placed the Senior women in 4th.
Barbara Parkinson finished second yet again in the over 60 section with 49.51 and clinching third spot was Valerie Cross in 59.34.
Leading home the R&N men in 13th place was Greg Spellman, which won him the over 45 category in 34 mins 3 secs. Backing him up in the Mens team was Steve Milner (59th in 38.32), Nathan Smith (72nd in 39.31) and Neil Martin 169th (20th M50 in 45.17).
