Welcome to Rugby and Northampton Athletics Club
Rugby & Northampton Athletic Club is one of the leading and most go-ahead Athletics Clubs in Midlands. We compete in Track & Field, Cross-Country and Running at a local, regional & national level. Whatever your speciality or ability we guarantee you a warm welcome as a participating member or just a supporter.
The Club is a merger between two former clubs each over 100 years old and with a great history, Rugby & District Athletic Club and Northampton Phoenix Athletic Club.
The Club has a membership of over 650 athletes, coaches and officials, ranging in age from 8 years old to over 80 years old. There are over 50 active coaches and 40 officials providing the back up to the athletes and helping them to achieve their personal goals, whether that be a local fun run or to compete in London 2012.

Rugby Ready Steady Run 2012
This 5K event will take place on Sunday 27th May, 11.00am, starting and finishing at the Rugby Track. Open to all club athletes, coaches, parents as well as general public (16 years +) and younger club athletes by coach recommendation.

Top of the World
CONGRATULATIONS to Ellena Rudduck new World Indoor Masters Champion (over 35s) in 60m & 200m and Jean Fail silver medalist (over 60s) 60m hurdles. Both anchored their respective relay teams to victory with Jean's relay squad setting a new world record.
Both athletes are coached by Roy Humphries.
Evening Grand Prix
This juniors event will take place on Wednesday 30th May, registration from 5.45pm, at the Rugby Track.
